All NYC DOE Schools Switching to Remote Learning, No in-person classes
School buildings will need to close if New York City meets the following criteria:
- The percent of positive tests in New York City is equal to or greater than 3% using a 7-day rolling average. If we cross this threshold, school buildings will close, and all students will transition to full-time remote learning for a minimum of two weeks.
As of November 19, 2020, all school buildings are closed until further notice, and all students are learning remotely 5 days a week. Find important information about remote learning devices, tech support, and tips for learning on our Blended Learning page.
